Here are some helpful holiday party planning tips to help you plan a safe holiday party this year:
1. Invite only those individuals that you really know. Invite only the trustworthy ones.
2. Invite guests that already know each other. A group can’t enjoy if they are anonymous to each other. Make sure that they reach out to one another to avoid the feeling of being out of place.
3. It is best to greet your guests as they enter and get their coats and keys so that in case they get drunk, you can easily hand it back to them.
4. Stay sober. The only way you can properly determine if a guest has had too much to drink is if you are not drunk enough to check them yourself.
5. Give a treat or reward to designated drivers so they too can have fun and control their drinking.
