First, almost half of your car’s policy deals with how you are going to utilize the vehicle, whether as a transportation to and fro work or just for leisure tripping. If you have a very clean driving track record, chances are you would pay less for car insurance. Since your car insurance knows how you drive around (a.k.a. your road ethics), and if you got 3 speeding tickets in 3 months, then that means something: you’re not being a careful driver.
Second, is for you to shop around. There is nothing better that getting the cheapest deal in town. Who knows? The money you have saved might let you buy that new grill machine you saw in the store?
